Here is a sample problem that applies to what I am teaching in my classroom. Your child will need to master this skill before moving on to higher level math problems. We know that we change fractions to decimals, so it is easier to compare and order them.
Put these in order from greatest to least: 6/40, -9, -4/16 7th graders learned all about integers this week. They compared and ordered integers as well as added and subtracted integers. They took their first quiz today!
